Drink Recipes  -  Vesper Martini

Gin and Vodka

Served: "Straight up"; without ice
Standard garnish: lemon peel
Standard drinkware: Deep Champagne goblet

Commonly used ingredients:

• Six parts Gordon's Gin
• Two parts vodka
• One part Kina Lillet (an apéritif wine from the Bordeaux)

Preparation:

Shake over ice until well chilled, then strain into a deep goblet and garnish with a thin slice of lemon peel.

Note: Cocktail glasses are commonly used instead of Champagne goblets in modern versions of this drink.
