Rub the rim of a highball glass with a cut lime. Fill with ice. Pour a 3:1 mixture of Coca-Cola and rum. Squeeze the lime, and drop it in as a garnish. Another variation of the Cuba Libre is the Cuban Missile Crisis. Compared to a normal Cuba Libre, it uses a higher proof rum, such as Bacardi 151 (75.5%).
